John Mollet

John Mollet is a second-year doctoral student in the American Studies program and a first-generation Urban Indigenous (Assiniboine-Nakota Sioux) scholar from San Diego, California. He graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. and M.A. in history. His research looks at Native American political activism during the Cold War, the complex identity and experiences of the Native American soldier and veteran, and the history of Indigenous resistance to U.S. military enlistment.
