Eleanor Womack

Eleanor Womack is a first-year Ph.D. student in the department of Slavic Languages and Literatures, where she hopes to study changing understandings of land, territory, and environment in Soviet Central Asia (particularly Kazakhstan). She received a B.A. in Humanities from Yale University in 2018 and, in 2023, completed M.A. coursework in Central Eurasian Studies at Indiana University, Bloomington, from which she expects to receive a degree in the fall.
