Inessa Laskova

Inessa Laskova is a dedicated senior administrative assistant with a passion for supporting and fostering intellectual exploration. One of her primary roles is to offer comprehensive administrative and academic support to the Yale Program for the Study of Antisemitism (YPSA). As the academic coordinator for YPSA, Inessa is responsible for managing all aspects of program logistics. This includes scheduling lectures, organizing an annual conference, tracking program expenses, and handling a recurring search for and appointment of a postdoctoral fellow. She also plays a vital role in generating public awareness and support for the program by maintaining the website, designing posters, and circulating relevant information to both internal and external audiences.

Beyond contributing to the success of YPSA, Inessa supports a diverse range of special programs and funding opportunities at the heart of the Whitney Humanities Center (WHC). She manages the intricate process of grant applications and oversees the WHC’s working groups, ensuring that the Center can continue to support innovative research and publications. She also works closely with WHC leadership in monitoring and providing financial responsibilities for various Whitney Humanities Center programs and sponsorships. In all her endeavors, whether coordinating logistics for film screenings or communicating with grant applicants, Inessa consistently aligns her work with the overarching goals of the Whitney Humanities Center. Her contributions play an integral role in nurturing the collective and independent labor of humanists from various fields at all stages of their careers.
