Medea and the Tragedy of Migration: Luis Alfaro's Mojada

Medea in Los Angeles, a Chicanx adaptation of a Greek tragedy. The Classics department has invited Dr. Rosa Andújar (KCL), an expert on Alfaro, to speak to the Yale community. Her lecture, “Medea and the Tragedy of Migration: Luis Alfaro’s Mojada,” is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 4pm in Linsly Chittenden 101. We anticipate that the Q&A will touch upon several themes, including immigration, Chicanx theater, performance, translation, and classical reception.
