The Whitney Publishing Project brought together four editors of major humanities journals for an afternoon of workshops and discussion on scholarly journal publishing. Two closed sessions addressed the challenges and practices of journal editing today—topics included open access, peer review ethics, inclusivity, labor and staffing, and innovative publishing models. The afternoon concluded with an open roundtable geared toward graduate students and early-career scholars on publishing in interdisciplinary humanities journals.
